PRESENTATION OF THE ACCOMPLISHMNT IN DIFFERENT DIVISIONS




This is the memorandum signed by Undersecretary for Administration Alain del Pascua this memorandum aims to prevent from replacing the School ICT to his position in order to maintain the equipment’s or Deped Computers and also this School ICT invest money and training to this individuals.



ICT Update:
Committed to proficiently manage and execute ICT-related programs and initiatives, the Schools Division of Lanao del Sur 1, under the stewardship of Schools Division Superintendent Dr. Sahanee Macarampat-Sumagayan through its Division Information and Communications Technology Unit, headed by Sir Mohaimen Potawan conducted an Orientation on Update, Digital Citizenship, and DepEd Email for the newly hired teachers on November 16, 2023 at the Provincial Social Hall, Marawi City.
The activity amied to (1) educate the newly hired teachers on how to become responsible citizens in social media like fb and other platforms; (2) be responsible in using social media platforms and know the positive and negative impacts of their post; and (3) update on the DepEd email.
Furthermore, the orientation sought to instill a sense of digital responsibility among the newly hired teachers, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to navigate the digital realm while upholding ethical standards and utilizing technology effectively for educational purposes.
Other attendees were the secondary schools’ ICT coordinators, district ICT coordinotors, and ICT officers.
SDS Dr. Sumagayan extended her heartfelt appreciation to the ICT Unit, headed by Sir Mohaimen Potawan, for his diligent efforts in organizing and facilitating the event, recognizing his significant role in advancing the Division’s ICT-related endeavors.
THE ICT OFFICERS ELEMENTARY LEVEL

Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Unit
Duties and Responsibilities:
To provide ICT enabled solutions and services in the area of governance and curriculum delivery that will empower the division office to provide quality basic education that is culture sensitive, accessible and inclusive to decision makers and stakeholders.
- Manage and coordinate the implementation of ICT programs and projects in the division, schools and learning center to ensure that these projects meet the development objectives through participation and collaboration among stakeholders and implementers.
- Formulate Plan to ensure the strategic development among use of ICT in the division, schools and learning centers through an identification of ICT needs and alignment with the goals and objectives of the division, region and national office.
- Coordinate the training and development division and other ICT partners on ICT capacity building to promote the strategic use of ICT in education governance and integration in the teaching and learning process. This will be done through an assessment of training needs and requirements, aligned with the division’s development objectives.
- Manage and coordinate with the different stakeholders and partners to ensure that resources for ICT are mobilized, services from partner providers and suppliers are efficiently delivered through set standards and policies or partnership and stakeholder management.
- Manage the day-to-day provision of ICT services including the maintenance of technology infrastructure and operation of ICT-based systems, ensuring that service delivery standards are met through regular and systematic monitoring of system/ technology performance.
- Provide technical assistance of schools and learning centers in the integration of ICT in teaching-learning to ensure the maximum and strategic utilization of ICT in collaboration with the Curriculum Implementation Division.
- Provide technical assistance to the LR management division in the efficient and effective harvesting of content, development of learning resources to ensure that learning resources are compliant with the technical standards and accessible to schools and learning centers.
- Coordinate with the Regional ICT and ICT Service at the national level on the monitoring and evaluation of ICT programs and projects to ensure effective feedback, work integration, and collaboration through adherence to the reporting and coordination mechanisms that are established.
