The Division of Lanao del Sur 1, Department of Education of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DepEd-ARMM) was among the divisions created under Act No. 14, which was recently amended by Muslim Mindanao Autonomy Act No. 279 on August 3, 2010.
